And so the lamp said..
"You are in great danger.
We have been trying to warn you,
but you reisted, and we thrive upon fear."
I shuddered then, clearly afraid.
But this light fixture seemed more incontrol then the last time
we had met, only hours before.
I opened my mouth to speak,
and a harsh voice spit to me;
"SILENCE."
I recoiled, as if burned.
The voice was so powerful when it wished to be,
and I regretted the light instantly.
And hated, hated my loathing of darkness.
